It is a piece made by a local man named Blaž Zarnik who in eight china cabinets displays rocks, fossils and minerals collected exclusively on the territory of Litija Community. It is about a unique case within geological collection in Slovenia when geology of the whole territory of one community is introduced. Rocks are divided after age from the oldest which reach back 315 million years to the youngest - a few thousand years old. From the colour of the sign which is placed near each rock a more demanding visitor can tell in what environment that rock was made in ( a river or delta environment, a shallow sea or a magma origin ).

A part of exhibited minerals belongs to the famous Žiga Zois. It is a collection that is known as the most important in that field. The collection of 153 samples supplements a well designed geological map of Litija Community in scale 1: 50.000 with a legend where it is possible to the areas of the rocks introduced in the collection.
