In the connection of the renovation of the collection in the beginning of the year 2001 a proper hand workshop was opened which supplements an introduction copperplate printing and refers to it directly as it discloses secrets of the beginning of a paper-making till its arrival in Slovenia - that happened somewhere in the 16th century. The workshop preserves technology and receptions for paper-making, typical for the last period of dark ages. The creation is completely hand-made, the paper as a product each for itself represents a certificate of authentic and depends on a creativity of master who creates a product. Paper that was made on the castle Bogenšperk has its own secret signet, common for that time. Today it is known as water-printing.
